If there were to be a Garand Picture of the Day Book - what would you expect to see in it other than Garands in photos ? No plans at this point just wondering

I particularly enjoy when there are captions to go with the photo, describing the event in which it was taken and naming the brave young men with the rifles when possible.

Picture of the Day Book

If you made one in a flip-calendar form, I would proudly display it at my desk...would give me something else to look at instead of all the surrounding calendars with "cats" or "emojis" of the day, or even worse all those nauseating self-help quotes.

I always like pictures where soldiers are actually showing the strain of combat and keep hold of their faithful rifle. As the only friend to be always relied upon...

Great idea & Love the series.
My suggestion would be the chosen photos arranged chronologically roughly as follows development (prototypes etc..), adoption, WWII (lend lease,use in battles in order),occupation / Marshal Plan, Korea, Vietnam and distribution to allies Philippines,Turkey,Denmark etc..., DCM and CMP thru to modern collecting and competition use.

My thoughts were

By year 1941, 1942 etc. not sure how big either 50 photos maybe - would need to go to national archives to source unpublished images
