My frog is lost. Originally supposed to be delivered today. Upgraded to delivery yesterday and now they haven't updated it in three days. It arrived in Miami, no idea why it went there Surely Philadelphia or even New York would have been a closer port of entry, was processed through Miami and that's the end of the tale.

Sit tight, I ordered a few things that should have come way quicker but one piece took 101 days from Michigan...to Victoria. It too went to Miami after getting to the US/Canada
border. It'll get there.

I think my favorite is the package that circled around Chicago for two weeks before jetting off to Miami then to my county and then three different towns here until it finally arrived a month late. Package tracking is not always the greatest source of confidence. Haven't lost one yet. My Chinese repro Japanese
shovel sat in the port for over a month as it got trapped there by the Covid lockdown.

If it's been "miss-delivered" I think that they can tell where because the "zapper thing" that the delivery person has, if it's anything like the UK
, has GPS, or so I was led to believe.

Hasn't been mis-delivered as of yet. They simply don't show where it is. It left Miami, that's as far as the tracking goes.
I had a package a month ago that was in my hometown post office for three days. I finally contacted them, and they did a search of the facility and found it on the floor behind the bins.
So it could simply be on a truck somewhere. This crap seems to happen with 1 out of 10 packages I get from the USPS.

Ordered up a proper 9mm Browning Long barrel for a Swedish
M1907 that had been sleeved for .380. After due time, I checked tracking and found it had been declared delivered. Extensive attempts to contact USPS finally resulted in a statement that the barrel had indeed been delivered, but to the wrong address, one within a few blocks of me. They further stated that they would not attempt to retrieve the package, give me the address that it wound up at, nor provide any compensation for their error. The recipient evidently did not feel any guilt about keeping it either. Luckily, the seller graciously sent me a replacement, at no charge.
The vindictive side of me wanted to scour Flea Bay for a month or two, as I'm pretty sure not many attempted sales of the item in question would originate from my immediate area. In the end, logic prevailed, and I realized no good would come of this enterprise, and let it go.

Wow, that doesn't sound right. It's a Federal offense to open someone else's mail even if mis-delivered. You must have a crappy post office.
Anyway, I got an update a few minutes ago. The package has arrived at my post office. Supposed to be delivered "EARLY" I might add tomorrow. Not sure how it can be early when it's two days after they said I would get it but it is what it is.

So, get this. My wife is sitting on the porch and the mail lady, a replacement, comes up the street on the opposite side and drops off the mail, crosses the street and delivers the mail to that house. Our house she has to walk up the hill about 80 feet. She starts back down the hill. My wife knows we have mail coming because I get a notice every day which tells me what is coming complete with photos of most of it. My wife yells, "hey, don't we have any mail?" She checks and then comes up and then goes to leave. My wife also knows I have a package coming so she asks about a package. There it was. It has arrived with yet another interesting story. Now I know why we aren't getting out mail some days. Lazy replacement.
I appear to have gotten a brand new one. I'm happy. It was a tight fit with the cutter on it but it went in.
