Flight RN,
Having trawled the lists extensively with a fresh pair of eyes, namely Roger P, there are several rifles with that exact number but the prefix is different. I think they wrote it down run, and thereafter it went to print and left.
If the new owner surfaces on this site we can then give out the correct info. Thanks for raising it..

On Rock Island Auction's own site (linked below) they list the rifle as sn: D32562 in the summary but G32562 in the long description, the G prefix may be a typo when they mean it to be D or vice versa. Is D36562 on the list perhaps?

Well there is a D32563 and an M32562 or A32562.
It needs a read of the rifle serial number by someone who has passed an eyesight test by the looks of it.
No trace of D36562.
It does from this distance look an honest L42A1 but who knows. If anybody is on the phone to Rock Island perhaps ask them as "Firearms Registered Dealers" to confirm the number of the rifle anything between A to Z will do. I would hope their paper records are spot on!!!! lol.
Sorry best I can do I'm afraid.

Hi
I still have my A32562, so it shouldn’t be that one!

It sounds rather like the No4T's that could be bought for £30 complete because nobody wanted them, don't you wish we could travel through time.???

Yes, my friend has Enforcer no.727 which was assembled by Barbican and made with a .22LR barrel.
I have no. 298 which was issued to Durham Constabulary on 3 Jan 1975

T32033 is on there
AS3079 is NOT on there
There is an AS number quite close to that one, but doesn't end with a 9
