    Glasses stay on surprisingly well under most combat conditions. When you lose them for any reason, you are relegated to an appropriate space in your organisation if your sight is that bad. If it is that bad, you wouldn't be in combat in any case but in an appropriate mustering where good vision without glasses isn't required. Etc.

    Exactly. You have guidelines of vision standards. At this point, I wouldn't be acceptable for much as my eyes have gone pretty bad and NEED glasses.
