I thought that there was only 2 WW2 US manufacturers of the M43 entrenching tool, Ames and Wood but, apparently American Fork and Hoe also were. Does anyone know of any other WW2 makers?

Good question. I haven't kept good records of my entrenching tools but I'll see if I can dig them out and look. Ames is pretty obvious, I know I have several of those. Wood, I don't think I've heard of. I don't have a lot, maybe half a dozen US.
