Yeah when I bought it it was at least five or six years maybe longer. I'm not real good at judging the amount of time that has passed haha but I know it was at least 5 years ago. An oiler fits in it perfectly with it inside the stock. I bought it thinking maybe it was used for shipment of carbines or something similar. It didn't cost hardly anything at all so I quickly snapped it up just in case it was legitimate. With the oiler inserted in it, the sides of the oval cut out pinch it tightly in there to where it's actually hard to remove once it's in there. It's made of stamped metal
