Page 72 of Allerberger only mentions that an optics factory was supplied during the era of Weimar-Soviet cooperation. Generally the Germans went to the SovietUnion to instruct the Soviets and not the other way around. It mentions snipers working individually, in pairs and company strong units. However, these are things that the Soviets could have learned from Hesketh-Prichard (at least up to squad strength in the infantry battalion).
