    Smile Been awhile...

    ... but the trick is to get the recipient to issue a UPS call tag. They will pick the package and you will get a cheaper rate.

    I went trough this,yesterday,with a box of primers,at UPS.
    There is a lot of ignorance amoung UPS employees,concerning 'gun related' items to ship.
    I spent about a half hour with a clerk,who phoned three people to acertain that no special wrapping or marking is necessary,but the UPS store cannot ship it.It must be shipped from a wherehouse,and a computer generated label be affixed to it.A receipt is also generated.
    Wharehouses are not usually in customer friendly places.

    Oh yes, I forgot, box with ammo had to be marked ORN-D with a border around it and "Cartridges, small arms", above that!
