A plaque on the side declares "Dual Control."It does indeed.If they made molds or dies to cast/stamp those rudder and stabilizer parts with their IDs on them, that suggest some volume of production.That's about all I could find about them.Chicago Apparatus Company seems to have been a supplier of educational models and supplies generally.That's a good question and I haven't found any info on this unit with multiple searches on the 'Net.Made a high-wing monoplane for a reason, or just to make the controls easier to arrange on the model?
I should mention that I've posted this on another forum and the pics all came out right side up.
