Now all you have to do is go down the rabbit hole and start to check your chargers/stripper clips for the markings. Remember if there is nothing on the back, it could be under the spring. These can be easily removed by pressing in one of the tabs with the nose of a round or a pen and pushing the spring to the side. and there could be a surprise waiting for you.
Does anyone have any FN 7.62x51mm ammunition on original Clips? Especially looking for mark two clips (two pips on each side and phosphated) They wont have any markings, nor will the later 1 pip (Mark 3 Charger).
This makes ID'ing the clip very difficult and I have a number of examples that are languishing in the 'Australian' and 'Indian' Charger pages as that's where they originated from, but I think they are reused clips and could of been supplied by Belgium
