Thread: Relic from the troubles?

    In the seventies an L.A. lawyer owned an armored car with a turret and canon, I don't remember the make, and used it as his daily driver. The L.A. Police tried to stop him but... once he put on mirrors and turn signals, he won in the courts. It ended up on a Joe Walsh album cover:



    I'd love to know what type it was.

    That's an M8 Greyhound turret. The muzzle brake looks fake.

    I'd bet the gun is just a tube and the brake is just a sheet of steel. Dewat guns in the US are very touchy so to avoid problems, I'd have nothing for the LEO to see.

    Thank for that. I was thrown by the muzzle and brake. I did a lot of searches but I was thrown by the muzzle, exposed turret slot, and brake.
