Friend has one of these pump carbine’s similar to the M1 carbine that won’t extract the spent or live round every time?

Did it ever Extract since your friend has owned it?

I did monkey around with converting a 30-caliber to pump. It was a complete failure.

I did one on the other hand that worked flawlessly. I worked from memory of a design I saw when young...some gun magazine layout. Only our inane laws drove it away or I'd still be using it.

Did it ever Extract since your friend has owned it?

That's a really good question. It could be a small thing that would be obvious to us when in hand but we'll never guess it from here.
