    That rifle would be a perfectly good hunting rifle. Looks to be in decent condition. However:
    It would be a poor candidate for restoration. The barrel is shortened. The receiver is drilled and tapped for Weaver TO-1 scope base.
    US$300 is close to C$375. Here in Ontario, that would be on the high side for a sported No. 4..
