Pretty good day today at the Antique flea market. Picked up a few new things and learned something. First thing I found was a US mess kit knife. Not exciting but this was different. It has a bakelite handle. I've never seen one before. Turns out they were made during WWII to save metal. Seller thought Vietnam and it seemed plausible to me but WWII for sure.
Next I found a DAH MKII machete, the second I've found at this flea market and the things are supposed to be rare. This one was a steal at $35.
Next I hear these two guys talking about a shell he just picked up and it's $10 which isn't bad for a shell and casing, 37mm 1914 casing, 1917 shell.
Another toy cannon.
And lastly, a pair of models to add to my collection I may never build.
