The ink stamps are really clear for being 80 years old ? Either way, original of fake, price is way too expensive.

Agreed, but the machines made SO many during that time, they're still coming out of the woodwork new. This one comes from Greece(?) I think and they used lots of them. Looking at the other pics show a bit of wear. Still way over the top for price.

I use to pick-up these drum pou ches up years ago but now there is alot of fakes around. the really rare pouches are the UK manufacture. There was a 100 rd pouch too but not really military except for the pre WW2 USMC.

I understand that some US 50rd drum pouches were converted to hold 12 ga shotgun shells and issued with shotguns ? any information ?
