As far as tightening these, I did some research last night and I believe you take the end off that has the two round holes in it with a special tool and there is a tightening screw underneath it. Anyone ever do it? I'll probably have to make the tool unless my son in law has one. The tool is also used for cameras.















The Ambulance is a Tootsietoy which were pretty common toys I had a lot of them when I was a kid but they were hand me downs. I don't think they were still making this larger size in the 1960's. The Horn Truck is made by Thomal, it's plastic. The first I've owned. Plastic toys aren't as collectible so their prices are generally lower but by the same token, not many survive so they are rarer.
