The Oswald shooting has been duplicated by many so not impossible, difficult but not impossible. I tend to believe there was a second shooter however for a host of other reasons.

Rifle on the roof prior, extremely unlikely. It's a light-colored roof and any object would be easily seen from the windows in the building next door. The rifle can be easily seen on the roof in post shooting videos. It's black on a white roof. It does have a collapsible stock but that only shortens it by maybe five inches or so. There does appear to be a large backpack on the roof also however that is probably big enough to conceal a collapsed AR.

Interestingly, there is a door that opens onto the roof complex from the two-story section. That would explain how the person who was supposed to be on the roof got off so easily when he/she got too hot. Straight into the air conditioning.

Apparently one person stated on another platform he had an aimpoint.

The head of the secret service has resigned I was amazed that they said on the US news that her previous role was head of security at Pepsi ! if that is so then it is odd I would have assumed a person with a military background would have fitted the position better like say a DVGRU or Seal operator.
Anyway Trump was lucky I wish I had snagged that clip from the news as the bullet streak captured on that frame was in line perfectly thank goodness for the screen he looked at.

Regarding the comment on roofs that F10 talks about ~ People can and sometimes do fall through roofs if inadequate safety precautions are not taken.

My first job from school was a roof tiler laying concrete tiles bumping (carrying them) in lifts of 10 (100 lbs) across scaff planks up the ladder & across the roof batton's I only fell off the roof once as the batton was only nailed in the middle and not each end where the marker nails were.
So it did a big prop job I threw the tiles off my shoulder they went through the eaves I lobbed on the gutter as I jumped it collapsed with me falling about 10 feet into soft sand with thankfully no bricks or half bricks or steel ties!
Thing with concrete tiles you nail every second one but sometimes you will miss the galv clout and hit the tile which wont break there and then but it will break overnight due to contractions getting cold so the next day when you step on it it will fail completely and your leg will disappear into the roof space.
Not a nice thing to have happen when one has a 20 liter bucket of concrete mud for laying the ridge capping on your shoulders had this happen once or twice really good for one's shins, back and the already laid roof tiles.

Before they got into the safety thing with systems with roofing workers we quite happily walked around on these steel clad roofs only dangerous times were old ones where a form of talc forms on the surface very slippery when wet or dew covered, also wet roofs whether tiled or steel clad.
I enjoyed the work it was very physical but you never forget how to walk safely across a tiled roof as there is a certain spot you tread on the tile not to break it I watch some homeowners walk across their house roof and cringe the way the do it.......!

She was a secret service agent for a long time. worked Biden's detail when he was VP before she retired...then took the job at Pepsi, then Biden appointed her director when he became president.

I stand corrected and should have known better. As a High School athlete I was a 9 time track and field state champion to which if I start bragging my kids compare me to Al Bundy glorifying his 4 touchdowns in 1 game at Polk High School and call my past 'Lame'

So like a Starters shot, Oswald's first shot STARTS the clock.

She's what we call a DEI hire. She was hired for her sex/background/politics not her actual qualifications for the job. And she was pushing for a massive increase of Female agents which I think we can see from recent events are not the best choice. She's huge on DEI hires.

Today, the head of the FBI tried to suggest despite all the evidence, that it was not a bullet that injured Trump but shrapnel. This has been debunked multiple times yet they persist. Mixed signals on whether all eight bullets have been recovered. I heard this morning that they were but this afternoon that they have not been found.

Whistle blowers have released that local law enforcement offered drones for the event and the Secret Service declined. Then AFTER the shooting, they asked they to deploy their drones. The shooter had his drone overflying the site.

Meanwhile, images of Trumps ear have been released after his meeting with the Israeli Prime Minister today. It looks fully healed already. Just a few areas of whiteness around it.

    Aragorn243..... Just to add:

Don't forget that before Cheatle was Director she spent quite a bit of time on Dr Bidens personal detail, when Joe was VP. She was part of the security detail for both Biden, then the vice president, and his wife, Jill Biden. DR. Biden in 2022 had her top assistant ( I believe Marino... Also Huge DEI)) pull Cheatle to this position. A position Assigned not requiring Congressional Approval.

Seemed strange they were in such a rush to clean the scene. That roof was hosed off in what.... Less than 24 hours ?
I never seen any spent casing markers.
Never heard or seen where the missed shots impacted.

I saw a video where at least one of them impacted a crane hydraulic hose which sprayed hydraulic fluid everywhere but I don't know if it stopped there or not at the crane.
