AHA!!!! I sat down with my morning coffee ready to tear the action down, stone the sear and notches, or click buy on a replacement set. First step went to remove the sear spring screw and thought to myself "that was a bit too easy". I tightened it back down and wouldn't ya know all is perfect as it should be!!!! I think all that is left is to inspect chamber ring alignment with both barrels. Hopefully it's not beyond a simply polish at the edges. If not, I'll need to find someone with a set of winchester alignment reamers. Hoping for the best. The trench gun ended up alright. There is some sticking in extraction, but only with some ammo. The hornady critical defense (a bit hot compared to others) 00 bucks stick requiring a sharp grounding to open, but regular federal 00 buck is as slick as can be.
