    The only one I have seen ( modern ) was a full auto and a semi auto made by SMG guns.
    They have a vid test firing the FA and the semi was posted here from the Ian M guy from forgotten weapons. I think someone posted the gas hole was opened up WAY big , like .187" big. That's crazy and I am not going there.



    SMG guns does builds on DP / DPMs and offers the RP46 conversion. On the DP/ DPM builds they use to use a washer welded into the flash hider as a booster ( something else I would never do ) but maybe that's the only way they could get it to run.


    The Chinese conversion is claimed to be pretty much standard Bren but they shortened the sear catch slot on the piston post since it had reduced travel.


    Its neat someone already did this decades ago and some details are hard to find.

    I suspect if they didn't do that it would result in a runaway gun, reduced travel because it had insufficient gas.
