Matt, I agree with you that the vast majority of reloads use due and proper care in reloading BUT there is always the one and we all know of at least one who we do not want to be on the range with at the same time as it's just a matter of time before something goes boom instead of bang.

Well my friend gave me a couple of the CCI aluminum cases in question. I have examined them and YES they are ALUMINUM. They take small pistol primers. Again, I would not try reloading them. I'm going to attempt to post a picture. Hopefully this will satisfy those here who think I'm either a LIAR or just plain stupid.

The problem is, you are correct, there is a fool or a number of fools out there who will try it and hurt themselves or others in the process.
I picked up a few 45 ACP aluminum Blazer cases on Sunday morning at our outdoor pistol range and looked at the primer! Due to corrosion, I could not tell if they were berdan or boxer primed. Anyway, during the morning shoot, a member was shooting the brass blazer in 45 ACP and he afforded me the opportunity to inspect a fired case. Boxer primed and the brass looked good.
I don't care who it is, how long he's reloaded nor how much book learning that person has, anyone who attempts to reload the ALUMINUM BLAZER CASES IN AN IDIOT, period the end, just a jackass stupid foolish idiot!
And that's what I'm taking about!
