Yes, I too am guilty of having a nice bit of ancillary equipment and then having to go shopping for the rifle to suit it

A small sight adjustment and the old girl is shooting good, the 174 Sierra and 150 Hornady group nicely.
On the way home I got the chance to de-guttify a pesky varmint rabbit with a 174 grain hollow point. It nicely makes two wabbits outta one!!!
This rifle was made the same year my Grandfather went to France, my aunt has pix of him in uniform posing with his Ross rifle. I am trying to get copies of the pix. It's a slow process as she is in her 70's....
