    About Sept.1943 for your serial number. Where on the slide is the I? The RI sear and trigger are for Inland. The N on the trigger housing if on the right side would be for National Postal meter. The round bolt is not correct for your serial number. The mixed parts are from when your carbine went through a rebuild. hth

    The N is on top right behind the front sight post. The I is on the underside of the slide. Can you see the pictures? Somebody had a problem with the link. Thanks.
