I understand why people like type I and II barrel bands, flat bolts, etc., due to the fact that is how they were generally issued originally in WWII. However, I really like the carbines with potbelly stocks, type III barrel bands, etc. I guess it is because they have all the latest and greatest upgrades, or maybe I am just strange.
I am actually wanting to get an M1Carbine (I sold mine a long time ago, and now my boys want one) but would prefer one with the latest features and parts, but that seems the reverse of what most people want.
Does anyone else like the "late" versions?Information
