For your info, I have seen Remington parts on original Smith-Corona rifles.

I have seen S-C parts on a Remington, but I had no reason to think they were original to the rifle.

I have seen S-C parts on a Remington, but I had no reason to think they were original to the rifle.

S-C parts on a Remington is a no-no.

But Remington parts on an S-C is correct in a few isolated cases.
