Send a copy to your mate Gunnersam/temperflash/Albert; tell him to read it cover to cover before he makes any more posts..... the "Strength of barrels" section is relevant to his current theory about wire-wraps..... LOL

The difference Thunderbox is when you or Strangely Brown make comments I realize that both of you have forgotten more about the Enfield rifle than I will ever know and I actually respect your comments no matter how harsh.

I bought this book because you quote from all the time so I decided to play catch up and try and get ahead of the learning curve.

Ed; you give me far too much credit for too little knowledge on the Lee Enfield, my mate Thunderbox on the other hand is a true academic when it comes to this subject!

And YOU and Thunderbox don’t give me enough credit for my Attila the Hun Diplomatic skills in forums.

I would have used "Genghis Khan" but Attila, I guess, is also suitable

I should find that book too! Anyone knows an online source?

Dear Lou AKA Conan the Barbarian

You should know by now that Ed is a cheap bastard, just how cheap is Ed, well I’m so tight when I break wind it sounds like a silent dog whistle.

Cheapest place online anywhere is $33.00 American or $36.1439 Canadianicon (give or take a roll of duct tape) with free shipping.
(I told you I was a cheap bastard)
