    It looks to me like it's parked. Would the Mk2 sight be original in '42?

    Yes, the Mk2 sight was original to '41, '42, '43, up to June '44

    The retro-fit of Mk III sights to earlier began in June '44 when they also entered the production stream.

    Just because it may be parked doesn't mean that the story isn't basically true. I've seen newly Canadianicon FTRed guns that just came out of the cosmolineicon.

    Having said that, I wouldn't pay @$300 for a story....
