    if the "papers" are a "certificate of authenticity" run out of a word processor i would not put a whole lot of store in that. Let each weapon speak for itself and buy the one you like the best.

    Yes.. I have a bunch of "Certificates of Authenticity" just waiting to be filled in...

    the only papers that count are original DD1348, with correct NSN. If not, then send CMPicon an email and ask them if the S/N was an actual M1D.
