Typing left handed, so will be short. When I wanted to get my CMP Inland, i told my wife, who knows i already have a carbine, i want one like my dad carried. I also told her since i was buying it from the government, it would have more history and be a good one. i am putting it in a shadow box with some of his iwo stuff and his folded flag from the VA. Now i have to figure out an excuse to get a Saginaw next. After all, he also did tell me he had an old Saginaw for a short while.

Perhaps a shadow box with rifle for each island or campaign he went on. Or for each month of combat. ?
