    Thumbs up

New addition to ~Angel~'s collection ...

No.4 Mk1(T) Long Branch sniper rifle with all the additional kit you see in pic.

Serial number is just 18 digits higher than another one she has in her collection.

    Regards,
    Badger

    Very nice, congrats.

(did I successfully hide my jealousy?)

Only 18 digits off...that means you've only got one and half dozen more to go to fill in the gap.

    Smile gunshow SMLE

Bought this at a gunshow last weekend, thought it was a little unusual. Seller thought it might be a line throwing rifle. Have received some e-mail replies that it was probably a target rifle. It's missing the rear sight and has a one piece handguard. Cleaning the brown tacky film off the metal revealed a beautiful blue finish, the stock also has a very fine finish on it. Not like a military issue stock. It has volley sights and matching numbers on the barrel, receiver, bolt and nosecap. It is marked BSA,1911, Sht LE, #1 MkIII. Check the pics, see what you think.

The top one piece hand guard looks like a No1 MKV item.
