I am a new member to the forum and this is my first posting, I have Trials T No A0893, the rifle is totally original. The front pad, has been re fitted has its Enfield inspectors stamp on the top foreward surface. The pad screws have not been staked. The scope is a 1941 Kodak no 7392.The bracket is not original, as its a Canadian71L I did wonder why the scope number was so high, but Peter Laidlers comments about trials rifle scope numbers being around 6000 makes my scope far more likley to be original. On the wrist of the butt , where the scope number should be is actually the rifle number, the scope number is not on the rifle, or bracket.
