Rarish No. 9 Mk I bayonet

During the holidays I got a chance again to look through Graham Priests excellent book, "The Spirit of the Pike", which is a must have to any Enfield bayonet collector.

In his book he has illustrated an unknown No. 9 bayonet with only a partial manufacturers mark, for those with the book it is on page 269.

I am fortunate to also have an example of this bayonet but with better markings showing that it is a No. 9 bayonet made at M.I.L. or Metal Industries, Lahore in modern day Pakistan.

Pictured along with it is a No. 1 Mk II and No. 1 Mk II* P1907 bayonets made by M.I.L. during WWII. If anyone has his Mr. Priest's email please drop him a note letting him know one mystery has been solved.
