I have an IP trigger housing on my 3,052XXX 1943 Inland Mixmaster from my Dad's NRA buy in the 1960's. I always wondered what that big hole was for. Of course I had to bubba sporterize it in 1973, but it is back in original trim and shooting great.

Wineman,
A mixmaster Inland with an IP trigger housing. I would think you could sell that IP trigger housing and the other mixed maker parts and probably get that gun back to all correct Inland, if you wanted.

Thanks for the thought. Unfortunately the Bubba period included a D&T scope mount so the receiver is not worth getting correct with other inland stuff. The front sight shows the efforts of a 14 year old gun breaker with a hammer and a oak block. I lost the original type III band and the stock and handguard years ago
. I had a good smith add an AMCO band and I got an M2 stock and four rivet handguard. At least the recoil plate was DI. It shoots fine and it is kind of neat to have the IP part in it.
