Beautiful Pouches! Are they RC's?

possibly. There are however no markings to indicate it. I bought them from a guy in Kiev. So they are definatly from the East, but wheather they are official capture. I dont know.

RC leather isn't generally marked, but it usually has a distinct smell, reminiscent of mothballs, from the storage conditions in the Ukraine. I have a P38 holster that is an RC - nothing wrong with it. They didn't bugger the leather kit like they did with the rifles

Im not familiar with the smell of moth balls. But when I compare the smell of the g43 pouches witht the smell of p38 holsters and k98k pouches, there is a clear distinction. Russian capture it is
