*** May 2007 Purchases ***
This thread is a regular feature of The Members Showcase, designed for members to display pictures of their purchases made during the current month.
You can link directly to your pics at your own personal off-site web storage space, however, remember that MILSURPS.COM provides all Registered Members the ability to upload directly and store up to 2 Megabytes of personal pics (10 pics per post), which are automatically displayed as thumbnails in your posts. If you are a Contributing Member (click here), then the amount of storage space is UNLIMITED. Refer to the picture photo montage below, which demonstrates how pics uploaded to MILSURPS.COM are displayed at the bottom of an individual post.
If you're not sure how to upload or handle pics, then read the thread titled How do I upload or post images on MILSURPS.COM? (click here)
Show us all what great deals you made this month !!!

Ok, so I've been looking for awhile and I'm rather excited about my new purchase. It's my first milsurp rifle. While I can appreciate the value of collecting, I love to shoot as well, so this will be something different.
I'd love to hear comments about this rifle. Please let me know your thoughts. It's the rifle on the right in the first photo. I probably paid too much, but it's looks nice and collecting is a learning process that's fun in itself.
Here's what I've been told. It's a 1944 Lee Enfield Longbranch No. 4 Mk. I* with Walnut rear stock and beech forestock. Wood is marked Canadian
Broad Arrow and LB32 markings on receiver, bolt, safety, mag, sight protector and forestock clamps. Barrel is a 5 groove left twist BSA manufactured in the mid 50's.
Any comments on value or resources for more info would be appreciated.
Thanks
Jassen

There's a thread going on the in the appraisals forum right now about your rifle. If you haven't already exhausted your trial account, you can go read about it. Sadly, the info you find might not be very favorable to your new purchase.
