    Winchester Late First Block

    A recent purchase at a local auction and is a fairly good example of what was coming out toward the end of Winchester's first block. All of the parts are Winchester and match in wear and patina. It has the 9/16" left rear receiver detail, E379 op slide, and a late no bevel trigger housing with type 4 straight hammer. The front sight has a thumbnail mill mark. This example came with it's sling and oiler in tact. The oiler is an IS with serifs and is parked. Pictures forthcoming:
