Your type 99 didn't have a numbered extractor. Kokura didn't number their extractors. It's fine for your first type 99. I'm not sure what you call a song. But what ever it's good. Now you need a nice series 25 to keep it company.

You did very well. The last one I found like that I paid $200 for. You should go back and see if they can find the bringback papers for that one. With the Mum and dustcover, that one would have been an early war bringback. The sling looks very original and with the unit markings(lines and arrow) you should be able to narrow it down to where it was captured. Mums and accessories usually denote GI Brinback. Nice find and a great price. Now get some Hornady ammo and go shoot that bad rabbit...
