Take your enfield 'enforcer'/'envoy'/'enfield TR' barrel and remove the front sight block. Replace with reamed to suit No4 front sight block...solder...done...
The "little book" I referred to is called "An Armourers Perspective"...it even has occasional drawing numbers and everything...

Yes, one thing that Lee Enfield has clarified that I didn't make clear is that if you are using a fully finished Enfield heavy barrel as intended for an Enforcer, Envoy, L39 etc., all you need to do is unsweat the existing target foresight block as the front stub of barrel will then automatically be of the correct diameter. Measure it, bore your 1H (split high) foresight block to suit, & solder it on. Bob's your auntie!

Got the deed done. No4 sight block opened up to .670". The step on the barrel was 1.30". turned out great....thanks for everyone's help. Ron (Canada
