I tend not to post serial numbers out of habit however would it help at all?
Yeah, I have seen a couple Marlin 36 rifles marked as PCMR rifles also Winchester 64's as well.

I doubt we can find any info whatsoever even with your serial number. Yes, they used Marlins too...forgot that one. There were stories of others too, just depended on where geographically you were located. Don't know about the current owners of the #4s. I wouldn't let them keep them, I'd recall them and sell them to us here...
    Regards, Jim

Very nice rifle. Interesting that the "C Broad Arrow" Canadianicon ownership markings are double stamped on both the metal and wood.

Best part is I had no idea of its Canadian background when I bought it. The more I learn about it, the more I get convinced the gun gods were smiling on me that day!!

These rifles also tend to fetch some crazy money up here. I remember when you couldn't give them away. My brother sold his (albeit in rough shape) for $65 about 10yrs ago. FWIW, I paid $400 for this one after some dickering on the asking price.

Just noticed it now. Small 'S' on receiver under blocked out serial number. No idea what it signifies. Anyone?

Now you need a P'07 bayonet with the Canadianicon ownership mark to go with it!
