I have an Eddystone P14 ser no 11*** (second week of production? ) it is marked up with EY on the stock and receiver, and is completely as was first produced neve been near Weedon as I believe this is one of a batch that were put straight into storage due to out of spec bolt lugs, but would be very happy to learn more.

The first 20,000 P14 Eddystones went straight to India so that No.1 MKIII could be released for service on several war fronts. Does your Eddystone have the serial number stamped into the outer side of the front of the stock? Which seem to the case around the Britishicon Empire. No doubt several escaped the Weedon process.
