That would be nice, specially in #5 rifle. I had a long once...just the butt. Only one I ever saw.
Sorry if this is hijacking the OP's topic.
But, I wasn't aware that the long stock was uncommon on the No.5. Here's the "L" marked one my No.5 wears, it gives 1/2" longer LOP than the standard stock on my No.4.

I've only ever seen one and many here have spoke of their scarcity too.

My question was specifically BECAUSE I had seen these pictures. I would want to see a finished stock as well, not pieces of wood without finish/oil/varnish/whatever.

Lee Enfield repro walnut stock sets
Hello All - Thank You for your comments and interest. I am nearing retirement age and the 3 models made currently are about all I can handle. I ship all over and can generally ship the next day after payment if it is a week day. A complete wood set is 350 Canadian
dollars plus actual shipping. Please PM me with any questions. Cheers to all. Ralph

I've very luckily got a 'L' butt on my No.5, and I've seen one on another that was for sale.
I've heard it that 90% were standard, with the remaining 10% of production comprising the non-standard S and L lengths (did they offer bantam length on the No.5?)
How true or not that is I have no idea, but seems logical given the relative scarcity of 'L' butts.
