    Wanted items

    Hi all

    Can anyone point me in the right direction as I am wanting to purchase and import to New Zealandicon the following L39A1, L59A1, .22 Short rifle pattern 18 and a .22 No 7.

    Also wanted are a scout scope and slings both leather and nylon for a No4 T and a L42A1

    Simon can you please check this rifle for me, not sure if it is an experimental, or maybe my imagination that it is real. it is a 1944 M47C has No4 MkI T 66 on the side of the reciever. the serial number is 30608

    I would tread with caution, Thunderbox On the Enfield forum has probably handled a few more than most, would PM him and regarding the number 274, send PM to Alan-de-Enfield, he may have the info behind it and which force it belonged too.

    I have some strong views on some Enforcer,s, and would stay away from anything that does not have straight lettering on a flat sided action.

    A single ovoid is fine too - the first 200 ish had this.

    I have Envoy No278 manufacture stamped EFD69. Top of receiver is also stamped 'Regulated by Fultons' from whom I purchaced it. Would like to no more about the rifle's past if that's possible. Many thanks in advance.

    Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...
