I'm a fan of the A1 and A2 rifles. I like the triangular hand guards.

Just finished this A2 build with modern hand guards.

That handguard looks interesting. Who is the manufacturer?

The clamping point for the bipod sometimes is scratched. Dip the front of the bipod in liquid rubber.

The hand guard is made by Apexcncmachine.com. It's a local company. I've been gathering parts for a build with all parts made here in Orygun. I well have to compromise on the LPK and RE.

    More triangular hand guards.

Not original (obviously), but here is my retro clone of the 1980's (first) version of the Diemaco/Colt Canadaicon C8. Armalite lover, but the furniture and many of the parts are Colt.

The lightweight sub-16" barrel is particulary nice. Have yet to go to the trouble of making one. But having seen yours, it may move up on the priority list.

Thanks Stevo, I had to turn the barrel down myself as there aren't any C8-type Colt lightweight barrels available in Canadaicon (and maybe not in the US?) with a 0,75" gas block journal like on a real C8. The barrel started life as a 14.5" chrome lined M4 profile 1:9 bbl.

Here it was before park in the area of the FSB.
