The clamping point for the bipod sometimes is scratched. Dip the front of the bipod in liquid rubber.

The hand guard is made by Apexcncmachine.com. It's a local company. I've been gathering parts for a build with all parts made here in Orygun. I well have to compromise on the LPK and RE.

Not original (obviously), but here is my retro clone of the 1980's (first) version of the Diemaco/Colt Canada C8. Armalite lover, but the furniture and many of the parts are Colt.

The lightweight sub-16" barrel is particulary nice. Have yet to go to the trouble of making one. But having seen yours, it may move up on the priority list.

Thanks Stevo, I had to turn the barrel down myself as there aren't any C8-type Colt lightweight barrels available in Canada (and maybe not in the US?) with a 0,75" gas block journal like on a real C8. The barrel started life as a 14.5" chrome lined M4 profile 1:9 bbl.

Here it was before park in the area of the FSB.
