    Aragorn - nice looking pair of '04 McClellan's. The replaced rigging for the Cav saddle matches up nicely. Many years ago I collected U.S. saddles and had 7 different pattern saddles, so I well understand your enthusiasm. To my eye saddles really animate display of period firearms.     ps...consider bar stools for stands. I used plain wood stools (cheap) and squared opposing seat sides to accommodate width.

    Thanks, it's something I never would have guessed I would have been interested in 10 years ago. I saw a mule saddle at the WWII weekend at Reading PA. I would have loved to have had that, but my bank account would be very hard hit and my wife would have freaked out.
