Well Gil, I've got it all worked out, I'm going to become a transgender, so tick in the box for minority and one step forward.

Join St John's Ambulance, (as long as they let me wear my favourite frock and high heels and carry a matching handbag) so emergency services and that's another tick and step forward.

Unfortunately, the downside is I have to sacrifice my, er ...'tick' ... for my plan to work, so perhaps I'll just stay at the back of the queue for the vaccine after all!

I thought I would give everyone an update on the gun business in NJ. We are starting to get in drips and drabs of Glocks, interesting yesterday we received 3 Glock 45 MOS and a Glock 17 Gen 5. No Sig Sauers. No new S&Ws. We did receive about 8 new in the box S&W Model 5906 9mm pistols which have not been made for some time. It looks like some folks are digging deep in their warehouses to find stuff that has not seen the light of day to sell. We had a Rock Island FDE VR80 12 gauge come in and it lasted one day. No other tactical shotguns all. I have had several folks bring in old pump shotguns to cut the barrels down to 20" inches to make into a defensive shotgun. We are experiencing the shortage of coinage as well. I hope someone is not melting the coins down for the base metals as US coinage has not been made of copper, nickel or silver since the early 1960's. In the past week there has been a run on ammunition specifically 9x19mm, 9mm Luger or 9mm Parabellum depending on the country that you reside. We had 30 1,000 round cases at the end of last week they are gone as of today. Hope to get a supply on Monday. We will see. Still no problem with .223 Remington/5.56mm, .38 Special, or .40 S&W. Still getting a lot of folks from the inner cities who are looking for guns and firearms training. The equation of firearms ownership is starting to change where traditionally most gun owners were conservative how with the call for defunding of the police and the resulting uptick in inner city gang violence innocent folks caught in the cross fire are starting to arm themselves. Politicians are still blaming the guns as the problem, but folks are seeing the problem are the gangs and lack of proper law enforcement which permits these gangs to operate. That's it for this week. The shortage of coinage is probably people hoarding and rolling, coin rolls still represent cash in hand. Part of the preparedness panic...?
