Does anyone know if there is any difference between the receivers on the Parker Hale 1200TX and the Parker Hale M82, also were the they marked M82

Hi Simon,
There were actually no differences at all. Both had large 2ba scope block holes in the rear bridge and 6 x 42 holes in the front scope block. Neither the M82 or the 1200TX were marked M82 or 1200TX. The only markings would appear on the barrel of the TX, which said simply:
Parker Hale Birmingham "1200 TX"

Have been offered a M82 fitted with a Khales Scope, but didn't want to pay over the odds for a standard 1200TX that some one had built up.

Robert, M85 Serial Number 00184F left Parker Hale on the 26th of June 1987.
It was firing 18.1mm group with 10 shots at 100yards
Finished in Desert Camouflage stock
No scope fitted
Sold in a batch of 10 to Navay Arms
