Rebuild of 1916 Lithgow after bubba and neglect

I recently picked this rifle up after months of looking at it sitting forelorn in a local shop. Bubba had cut the stock years ago but not any metal, thank goodness. It was also quite rusty but it cleaned up really nicely. Numbers match and no import marks. So now it has a new stock plus a bayo and needs the rest of th metal stock bits to finish it off. Then it will be off to shoot another rescued milsurp.

Well it is a couple of steps closer to being finished! Stock disc is in, all the swivels are on and the rear sight ears are on thanks to a very generous member who donated the parts and paid to ship them and then refused to take a payment!

A tiny few more bits and it will be ready to take out and shoot! THANKS! ENFIELD ADDICT!!

Wow, good move! A 1916 Lithgowicon sure deserved this treatment.
