Strange 'Arisaka' at gun show today?
Maybe a prop gun? Model? Absolutely only marking was 'C 2' on receiver. No rifling viewed from muzzle, crude fittings, light wood, no mum or signs of removal, cleaning rod a dummy only a few inches long. Bolt looked real and functional. Any ideas? Google failed me. Thanks, Don
Update from CSP Forum, perhaps a training rifle from the 20's or 30's?
Any collector value? Thanks for any input, Don

Almost certainly a training rifle. They usually don't bring much. But one day somebody will do the "end all- be all" book of Japanese trainers and the prices will escalate. For no particular reason except obsession.
