Went to a gun show today

I went to a small gun show today and saw three carbines. They seem to be coming down on prices since about two months ago. One an Inland with a repo flip sight and repo type one band in a repo para stock. I saw it at the last show(then he wanted $950.00 now $800.00) I told him it was high considering, he said that was what he had in it. One Underwood 1.3 mil. Davidson import at $595.00 it actually wasn't to bad and I think he would have dealed, but it wasn't for me. Then a guy carrying a 5.3 Inland he got at a Duhham's Sporting goods a couple of years ago. He was trying to get what he paid for it, CAI import pretty loose, wanted $750.00! Sorry you paid that much when you could have gotten one from CMPicon. I noticed a carbine stock leaning on the wall behind a table and asked the man if I could take a look. I cut highwood RMC in the sling well. While I was looking at it he brought out two more, both highwood oval cut. They had a couple of issues but not bad. Out the door $40.00. They were really and I mean really dirty. When I got them home and stated cleaning them up turns out one is M-U marked in the sling well and has the U.E.F. with the small cc on the right side circle P on grip. The third is IO in sling well, big cc on right, circle P on grip, tiger striped. All only show type one band use. So no carbine came home but Frank is happy.....Frank

Yeah I went at noon Sat. and it was packed, I figured there would be some people trying to sell some toys, x mas and all. I only saw two carbines walking a universal in one of there wild folding stocks, and a import. Nothing on the tables but a few over priced CMPicon guns and a full transferable Inland
    M2 conversion for $5500.

Went to one in Kansas City Saturday, came back on Sunday to buy a nearly correct Standard Products!

    https://www.milsurps.com/showthread.php?t=17703

20-minutes into the show, I lucked into a really nice "J" marked 30-round mag and a mint SEY hardback sitting on the table between two display cases. both marked $15 each. Needless to say they are mine now. Carbine ammo is more plentiful and price dropping. Actually bought a couple of boxes of S&B for $15 each. I also traded some used 15-round mags for a really nice carbine cleaning kit dated 1945 and an Underwood trigger for a project. Almost got away real cheap until I ran into the before mentioned SP. Also traded for a NIW UQ mag.

I saw only a few carbines, one being a fairly nice looking late Winchester, overpriced and it swallowed my barrel gauge. Saw a nice Saginaw and an Inland from two other guys, both overpriced. Only a couple of tables with any carbine parts. I saw some of the 15-rounders I used as trading stock at the last KC gunshow. Black rifles and Russianicon imports everywhere. Lots of ammo. Pretty big crowd.

Thanks, but no thanks. I couldn't believe my good luck. The mags were probably sitting there for at least four hours before I saw them.
