    1905 Mk2 Update

Well, I finally decided to buy the Mk2 5* shown earlier in another thread.
The following pics are of another Ross I bought from the same fellow while deciding on the 5* rifle. It is a 1905 Mk2** Civilian Target. I shot this one a couple of days ago, not for group, but to sight in. It's now dead on at 200m. Made short work of a couple of clay's stuck in the burm... Awesome trigger!

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Drool, drool drool drool.

I've collected Rosses for years, and have to say that of ALL the rifles I've ever owned, the Mk II** are the most elegant, and definitely my favourites. If I had to sell all my rifles except a couple, it would likely be Rosses I would keep. That is a lovely lovely example you have acquired, and with a rarer sight set up as well. Treasure it--it's a beauty.
