12-43 Underwood bore
I decided to check the muzzle on the Underwood. I grabbed an M2 ball round (LC). put it in snug and came up with between 3/16 and 1/4' (about 7/32+"). Any idea what that would be on a muzzle errosion gauge? It is a tack driver, especially compared to some others I have owned.

Looks good to me. I'd say about a 1.0/1.5

Yippee
Thanks Bill,
I figured it must be about that. The bore is mirror bright, and it will do ragged holes on a 25 yard target from a rest. Those Israelis take good care of their weapons. Now I have to find a carbine match close by next spring after my shoulder rehab. I think I may pick up a used generic stock for it, though, as I hate to bang up the original with cartouches and serial number on it. Got a line on a potbelly one for $10 to redo with BLO just for a shooter stock.
